J. Cole is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer from Fayetteville, North Carolina. He’s known for his introspective lyricism, storytelling, and socially conscious themes. He’s also the founder of Dreamville Records, a highly respected label and creative collective.

J. Cole is famous because he consistently delivers high-quality, deeply personal music with mainstream appeal. His albums are known for strong narratives, poetic lyricism, and little-to-no guest features. He’s also respected for staying authentic, addressing real-life issues, and producing a large portion of his own music. On top of that, he has multiple platinum albums and a massive cultural influence.

While he has many hits, “No Role Modelz” is widely considered his biggest song. It has massive streaming numbers, chart longevity, and huge cultural impact. Other major contenders include “Middle Child,” “Wet Dreamz,” and “Power Trip.”
